About Mike

More than a PT.

I'm Mike Foster — personal trainer, strength coach, and the man behind Mike Foster Fitness. But if you ask me what actually drives me, it's not sets and reps. It's the moment a member walks in looking defeated and walks out looking like a different person. Transformations are everything to me. That moment when someone realises they're capable of more than they thought — I live for that.

Outside the gym, I'm a family man through and through. I'm engaged to my incredible partner Kelly, and between us we have five kids — so I know exactly what it means to try to prioritise your health when life is genuinely full-on. No judgement here about missed sessions or tired weeks. I get it, because I live it.

That family mindset is what built MFF's community. This isn't a gym where you put your headphones in and disappear. It's a place where people know each other's names, push each other, and celebrate each other's wins. That culture doesn't happen by accident — it's something we protect and build every single day.

My specialist areas are lower back pain recovery and strength training for the over-50s — two groups that are often underserved or badly coached. I've invested heavily in my qualifications to make sure every member gets genuinely expert coaching, not just general fitness advice.
